I grew up without internet. We didn’t get dial-up until I was in high school and it was SLOOOOOWWWW because I lived in the boonies.
So, you would think that I would have no issues being without internet for a period of time. You would also be wrong.
Our internet went down three and a half weeks ago. The service provider got it back up about 10 days later. Then, it went down 4 days after that. It took them 5 days to get someone out to our house to get it back up and running. 3 days later, down again. I’m currently using my phone’s hotspot to post this.
Y’all. I need my internet. Not just for work stuff, because, yes, that’s very important. But I also need it because I’m addicted to streaming any movie or show I want whenever I want. I like watching YouTube videos on the TV because watching on my phone gives me eye strain. I like being about to online shop in my laptop, again because my eyes are crap after spending all day writing.
This has been frustrating. Especially since this is a release month and I need to put together newsletters, social media posts, and blog posts.
I always figured I’d be fine if the apocalypse hit and we lost our tech.
I. Was. Wrong!
Anyway, now that I’ve told you about my (unwilling) month without internet, I’m reminding you that Lady and the Vamp (Mystical Matchmakers, #2) releases May 23! I posted a few teasers on the blog yesterday if you want to go back and take a look.
